NIKON RELEASES NEW FIRMWARE FOR ITS Z SERIES MIRRORLESS CAMERAS
Achieve more when you update to firmware version 1.20 for Z 7II and Z 6II, firmware version 3.30 for Z 7 and Z 6, firmware version 1.10 for Z 5, and firmware Ver. 2.10 for the Z 50
SINGAPORE – Nikon Singapore Pte. Ltd is pleased to announce that firmware ver. 1.20 for the Z 7II and Z 6II, firmware ver. 3.30 for the Z 6, firmware ver. 1.10 for the Z 5, and firmware ver. 2.10 for the Z 50 will be released on 26th April 2021.
Enjoy an elevated, seamless shooting experience with further improved autofocus (AF), and face and eye detection performance with firmware ver. 1.20 for the Z 7II and Z 6II. Experience faster and more precise shooting even as you shoot AF in low light situations or when using an external speedlight. Meanwhile, improvements to AF detection performance include subject visibility during live view shooting, tracking frames for face and eye detection and subject tracking AF, delivering smoother and more stable shooting.
With firmware ver. 3.30 for the Z 7 and Z 6, as well as ver. 2.10 for the Z 50, the update includes the Save Focus Position option that allows the current focus position to be saved when the camera is turned off and restored when next turned on. Amp up on versatility with the Z 6, which will include the addition of voice memo recording/ play function[1], the first Z series model to support this feature that is popular with the D6.
Enhancing usability, firmware ver. 1.10 for the Z 5 will include faster AF detection speed when shooting in Low-Light AF mode, and the Save Focus Position option.
