Z 30 Primary Features
Inspiring Creativity with Mighty Features
The Z 30 is a camera that is dedicated to video filming. With up to 125 minutes[1] of shooting time, an Eye-Detection Autofocus and Full-time Autofocus (AF-F), the camera offers unmatched consistency and delivers a focused shot in any setting, perfect for those who enjoy creating vlogs. For more freedom in focusing based on subject type, more focus modes are available to choose in Auto mode including Single Autofocus (AF-S), Continuous Autofocus (AF-C), and Manual Focus (MF).
For the fur friends who are primed for the trending hashtags, Animal-Detection AF that detect the eyes of pets for a focused framing are also available for both video and stills.
Capture clarity and textures even in low-light settings, be it night market excursions or evening cookouts, with an ISO sensitivity of up to 25600 for videos and up to 51200 for still images – adding personality and breathing life into every shot taken.
Providing a wider angle in narrow spaces or situations such as filming makeup tutorials or food flat lays is the camera’s ability to capture minute details in 4K UHD video with an approximately 100% angle of view. Get imaginative and turn up the dial on the ingenuity of storytelling with Full HD/120p for slow-motion filming and 20 types of filter effects from Creative Picture Controls to choose from.
A responsive camera for those who enjoy vlogging on the go or documenting moments while travelling, the Z 30 sports a 7.5cm vari-angle touch-sensitive monitor to give users the flexibility to get creative with their shooting. Ideal for extended periods of shooting or carrying around, the camera is encased in a compact body weighing approximately 350g[2].
Further enhanced with an array of compatible accessories and a suite of Nikon ecosystem from the vast range of NIKKOR lenses, to Webcam Utility for livestreaming, and to NX Studio for quick and easy video editing, the Z 30 is the embodiment of function and ease. Not forgetting with SnapBridge, users will enjoy the possibility of remote shooting and also experience a fuss-free and seamless experience as the application enables the immediate sharing from camera to smart devices[3].
Interweaving Performance and Practicality
Evoking meaningful stories with stills has never been easier. Users can further expand their expressions with exposure compensation in Auto mode to easily balance the light and shadows of an image. For creators who are particular on having flexibility in reflecting the exact nuance of an intended portrait shot, Picture Control comes in handy with its three parameters of adjustments.
With the same image-processing engine used in the award-winning Z 7, and Nikon’s very own CMOS sensor, the camera also delivers up to approximately 11 frames per second in high-speed continuous shooting[4] (extended) or approximately 5 frames per second in the regular setting.
Shooting in venues or moments that require minimal interruptions is also made accessible when silent mode is turned on, so the shutter makes no sound at all when it is released.
Feeling and Looking Good
Providing users further stress-free experience, the Z 30 offers an effective arrangement of operational controls inherited from high-end Z series camera models. Expect the camera enhanced with a mode dial that can save up to three original settings, custom buttons for assignment to frequently used settings, and a photo/video selector that allows for fast and easy switching. Get comfortable with a practical yet elegant design of a deep embossed leather grip paired with an ergonomically shaped front right shoulder for added comfort.
The Z 30; an impetus of wondrous imagination and possibilities for creators.
