Q: My camera has not presented any of the symptoms identified by Nikon. May I send it to Nikon for evaluation?
A: You can contact our service hotline at 65596 363 for more information. If your camera does not show any symptoms described by Nikon, you can continue to use your camera. However if you still wish to bring your camera in for checking, you can do so by bring your camera to Nikon Singapore Service Centre for evaluation. ------------------------------------------------------------- Q: If I send my camera to Nikon for service, when will it be returned to me?
A: Nikon will require 7 - 10 working days to evaluate and complete the repair on your camera. ------------------------------------------------------------- Q: Can I take my camera to a local authorized camera service facility to have this work performed even if I purchased the camera in other country?
A: Yes. As long as the camera is sent to an authorized Nikon Camera Service facility for the repair. ------------------------------------------------------------- Q: I had experienced the problems identified in this announcement and sent my camera to Nikon Singapore Service Centre/oversea authorized Service Centre for repair. Because my camera's warranty had expired, I was charged for the repairs. Am I entitled to a refund for those charges?
A: You will have to personally bring your Service Invoice to our service centre. The Service Invoice should clearly indicate your full name, camera model and serial number as well as the amount paid.
