About the Nikon D500
About the Nikon D500The D500 is Nikon's new flagship DX-format digital SLR camera. It is equipped with the same next- generation, 153-point AF system built into the D5, and supports captures of the intended subject with high-speed, approximately 10-fps*1 continuous shooting. Adoption of the new EXPEED 5 image-processing engine and a new Nikon DX-format CMOS sensor ensure superior image quality over a broad range of standard sensitivities, from ISO 100 to 51200, with recording of both still images and movies. What's more, the camera responds to the needs of professionals with support for 4K UHD (3840 × 2160) movie recording, as well as SnapBridge, an app that enables seamless connection of the camera to a smart device*2.
